Career and Technical Education courses are designed to prepare students in the technical and professional skills necessary to succeed in today’s high-demand occupational environment along with the opportunity to utilize academic skills gained. Our programs provide a variety of elective courses from which students can select in addition to the academic courses required for graduation. Career and Technical education allows a student to explore their potential and establish career goals. Career education courses encourage students to develop a personal career plan. Students may choose to gain college credits by taking Dual-Credit courses or Technical Prep courses during High School years. Our courses prepare students for employment in the field of study along with completing certifications and licensing.
To guide and assist you in your high school planning there is a course guide and a 4 year plan form attached below. It may be used to help you plan and get the most from your high school experience.
