Dear Longview ISD Employee,
Effective July 01, 2024 the payroll department will no longer issue paper checks. Employees will have one of two options for receiving their paychecks.
Option 1
Using your current personal banking or savings account. This also includes Cash App, Pay Pal, Venmo, etc. If you wish to set up direct deposit with your personal account, please complete the district direct deposit form on our website or stop by the Business Office to complete the form as soon as possible for processing. You will need to bring a voided check, deposit slip or letter from your bank with your banking information. We cannot accept this information electronically.
Option 2
A prepaid card via the business office. This card is similar to a prepaid card and will have the Visa/Mastercard logo on them. The business office will set this up for you. To avoid any fees associated with the prepaid card, you can open a checking/savings account with Southside Bank at no charge, just show your school ID.
All prepaid card will be mailed to the current address on file with Human Resources. If your address has changed, please update as soon as possible to prevent any delay in receiving your card.
